Virgin A Day ~ Day 4


Queen of Peace

I love how her hand beckons to me, "come my child".  I would follow her anywhere.....

The Virgin a Day virtual pilgrimage continues today and daily until December 12, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Visit Rebecca's site recuerda mi corazon for even more beautiful images of Our Blessed Mother.  This has truly been an inspiring endeavor so far!

    I have never seen this statue. It is beautful and welcoming in every way. Mary looks young and sweet. She has so much humanity and kindness in her face. She appears as a young mother with a babe in her arms. Who better to be a queen of peace than a woman with a young child. I love that the dress looks so modern. Nice post.

    So very, very beautiful and I love your camera effects. You remind me that I have that option, too--to enhance my photos in iPhoto. I forget that. I am always snapping photos of Marys everywhere I go.
